When the mix sounds as clinically pure and flat as the wallpaper on the wall, it’s time for the Warm Audio WA12 MKII. Here we are back in a time when signals were alive and had character. Plain vocals and instruments get that certain « something », become deeply layered and exciting.

The WA12 MKII can sound lively, clean and lifelike thanks to the built-in X731 OpAmp, but can also go into mild saturation at higher gain levels. The harmonic distortion thus created is an asset to any mix.

The often neglected power supply for the preamp is provided here by a sophisticated internal power supply with a low-noise toroidal transformer.
