The 2018 Modern Satin retains many features of the original Modern Satin model including stainless steel frets, proprietary Suhr locking tuners and the African Okoume body wood with a thin layer of satin finish, which lets the guitar itself resonate freely, producing a wide variety of tones from warm jazz to tight aggressive metal riffs. Adding new versatile electonics, a V60LP middle pickup and a straight 14″ radius Pau Ferro fingerboard to complete the exceptional comfortable Modern Elliptical neck profile shape. The neck is finished in satin, which gives the smooth feel of natural wood as well as protection from moisture. Moreover, this beast comes with Gotoh Floyd Rose bridge and staggered Suhr Locking Tuners, which provides an 18:1 gear ratio, improved tuning stability, and easier string change.
