Handcrafted in Germany, Studio 49 Series 1000 instruments are ideal for elementary music educators seeking high quality Orff instruments with limited storage or budget.
Light weight and durable, these compact instruments have integrated handles that make them easy to move around the classroom. Their unique design allows them to be played while standing at a table or seated on the floor. The patented, solid birch resonator boxes are built with multiple resonance chambers to produce the rich, resonant tone that is the hallmark of Studio 49.
Series 1000 xylophone bars are constructed from pao rosa, an African rosewood. Ranging from C1-A2, the AX 1000 includes F# and Bb accidental bars and a pair of CS 44 mallets.
