- Neck: Mahogany, 3-piece, with carbon fiber rods. Set neck with Ultra Access neck joint – developed in the Schecter Custom Shop, this neck construction technique allows for unobstructed access to the upper frets while maintaining all the good qualities of the traditional set neck construction.
- Scale: 26.5″ – perfect for downtunings.
- Fretboard: Rosewood, with Schecter « Gothic Cross » abalone inlays.
- Bindings: Abalone (body and headstock).
- Frets: 24, X-Jumbo.
- Nut: Standard.
- Headstock: Matching the body finish.
- Tuners: Schecter Locking.
- Bridge: Orig. Hipshot Custom 8, string-thru body construction – for even more sustain.
- Pickups: 2x EMG 808 active humbuckers – this combination is very versatile, provides lots of gain for aggressive sounds, fits well for downtuning and is absolutely quiet, due to its active design.
- Alternatively, upon request of the purchaser, we can also perform a professional installation of a different pickup combination, e.g. any DiMarzio, EMG or Seymour Duncan etc. (Only a small upcharge per pickup swap will be required). Furthermore, we offer installation of active boost and EQ circuits like EMG Afterburner, PA-2, SPC, RPC, VMC, EXG etc. Please ask for details if interested.
