Description

Sidekick combines the most popular time-based effects and creative tools in a compact design, ideal for any fly rig or smaller pedalboard setup. A fully analog, creamy BBD chorus inspired by the legendary Boss© CE-2 and BF-2 pedals provides ultra-wide and smooth modulation sounds. With less modulated delay time with additional feedback, it is also suitable for flanger-like effects at the same time. A warm, sparkling echo/delay with a maximum delay time of 700 ms adds organic repeats to the sound afterwards, while 3 reverb algorithms: Exciter – adopted from the popular Splash mk3, Plate and Shimmer, provide the perfect space.

All effects can be used individually or combined to create the densest soundscapes. A switchable buffer/preamp – adopted from the Greek boutique Magnifier pedal, ensures that the sound remains unchanged even with long cable runs or can be amplified accordingly if needed (mics, piezo, acoustic instruments, etc.). An additional DI and headphone output, including switchable amp/speaker simulation, can be used for personal in-ear monitoring for practicing/jamming at night, while also allowing Sidekick to be connected directly to an audio interface or mixer.

While many manufacturers focus on clones of popular pedals, all Crazy Tube Circuits products are completely in-house developments by the Greek effects manufacturer. All pedals are lovingly handcrafted in Athens, feature true bypass and are very high quality.
