With the WA-412, Warm Audio offers 4 preamplifiers in the style of a legendary American studio mixer in a 1 HE housing. This is THE sound of Rock’n´Roll: large, expressive lows and open, creamy highs distinguish the tracks recorded with it. In addition to the usual features like phantom power, phase correction, sensitivity attenuation, the WA-412´s TONE-switch stands out in particular. This allows the input impedance to be lowered from 600 to 150 ohms, resulting in an even more coloured sound. Thanks to the adjustable output level, the adaptation to other equipment is easy.

Discrete op-amp circuits allow high headroom with little distortion. That’s why each channel of the WA-412 has a 100% discrete 6-pin op-amp, which is placed on a socket and can therefore be replaced if necessary – or if you want to try a different flavoured 6pin-op-amp. Specially wound Altran transformers – Made In USA – are used in the inputs and outputs, which are responsible for the clear and open sound of the WA-412.
